Twenty Months

Clara is now twenty months old. We had our first chance to be single parents. Kristin went to Kiel, Germany for a week to attend a STEREO conference and Joe went to Las Vegas for a week to attend the Sungard Summit. Luckily, Clara's Commer grandparents came to visit, overlapping our absences. Still, it was an experience. Clara is very glad to have us both back. She is doing much better at expressing herself, although crying is still a large part of her vocabulary, especially when she doesn't get what she wants. She's starting to get her two-year molars, so her teeth have been hurting as well. Her attention span is quite good, especially when it comes to The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh - she can sit through the entire movie and then cry because we won't start it again. She's also getting quite tall and very heavy to carry around. She loves the cats and they are beginning to tolerate her. She also wants to pet every dog she sees.
